6D MICROBLADING

ABOUT 6D MICROBLADING

6D Microblading technique is a hair stroke technique of semi-permanent makeup, which is performed with the help of 6D Microblading needles and natural pigments that guarantee minimal traumatic injuries to the skin. This technique also creates natural and lasting results without undesirable colours such as red or blue. Using a hand tool and blade, natural pigment is deposited into the upper dermal layer of the skin, making it semi-permanent for 12-18 months, depending on the skin type and lifestyle. This technique will give you a thin and defined hair strokes as opposed to the conventional permanent makeup machine which can create a solid and unnatural ‘draw on’ look.

Please note that there is always 1 touch up procedure required, 4-6 weeks after the initial treatment, to ensure the best results.

You are NOT suitable for 6D Microblading if:

  • Are Pregnant

Information and what to expect

How long does the treatment take?

Microblading is a 2-step process, usually done 4-6 weeks apart. It is vital to complete the initial procedure and touch up.

Step 1: The initial procedure takes approximately 3 hours. During this time, a consultation is done, where we discuss your desired brow look, shape and colour and draw and measure the initial outline of the brow, for your approval. Though our faces are NOT perfectly symmetrical, I do my very best to create as much symmetry as possible. Brows are sisters not twins. Once you are satisfied with the shape and colour, the area is then traced over and semi-permanent pigment is applied with a disposable microblading hand tool.

Step 2: The second stage of the treatment is the Touch-up appointment, done 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure, no later than 6 weeks. The touch-up takes approximately 2 hours. It is imperative you complete the touch-up treatment. Without the touch-up, the results will not be optimal. The initial colour will fade significantly within 4 weeks as the skin heals, peels and fades. The touch up corrects any irregularities in the hair strokes, colour and finishes the process.

Occasionally a third touch up (4-6 weeks later) is necessary for certain clients where pigment does not take well to the skin.
